I had this happen with DAC’s recently. And I don’t know what will work since this one is supposedly compatible according to Intel and vmware’s site. Juga karena pelayanan y I’d check the compatibility site against your version of ESXi that you are running along with the model nic that you are trying to setup. More than likely a driver update that you could install from or just load into Update Mgr for those hosts.

Those appear to be 3rd party. I deployed a few servers about two months ago that would not work whatsoever, even though I have hundreds of the same cards working in other systems. Also, go to the CLI of the host and run the ‘lspci’ command, do you see the adapter there?

Can c520-da2 confirm if you are using twinax or optical SFPs? Same on cisco switches. You can enable it after the physical installation by going into the CIMC, clicking Inventory, and then clicking the Network Adapters tab.

Intel XDA2 10G NIC ESXi 6u2 woes. : vmware
I just want to know what card to esdi so I can get this thing up and running. Not sure about the vmware side. I have tried installing 5. Has anyone ever seen this before?

Please type your message and try again. More than likely a driver update that you could install from or just load into Update Mgr for those hosts. Even the Cisco SR optics do not work with this card. And If it is fail, what can I do anymore? Apparently this was a change a while ago. Ask your vendor for the proper SKUs and get the cards replaced.
And their site says that this system board supports this NIC. Are they Intel optics? I believe I’ve had a few cases where the adapter didn’t show up when using the X520-fa2 optical SFPs with this card. I would start to compare BIOS settings between a working a non-working host.
